Michelle and her husband Brian have been attending Springbrook since July 2011, after hearing God calling them to attend church in their own community. Michelle is so thankful to be able to use her gifts to work and serve the children and families of Springbrook as the Children’s Ministry Director. She has degree in early childhood development and almost 20 years of combined experience working with children through childcare, on Sunday mornings and at Awana.
Michelle met Brian at a teen hangout. After dating seven years, they were married in 1995. “He is a gift from the Lord—my best friend!” She is thankful the Lord entrusted her and Brian to be parents; their lives are full because of each of their three children: Cole, Cara and Cayden. God uses them to shape Michelle to be more like Him.
Michelle accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age, but it was not until later in life when she heard a message from Colossians 1:15-19 that she asked Christ to be Lord over her life. “I am amazed by the Lord every day. He is truly my Sovereign King of Kings and Lord of Lords!”
In her free time, Michelle enjoys cooking, crafting, children’s baseball games, children’s dance classes, reading and listening to music.
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
