A church committed to reaching our community for Jesus Christ and building passionate disciples

Missions Start at Home

Acts 1:8 says we will be witness in our home to the ends of the earth, and it is exciting to share with you just a brief glimpse for what this looks like at Springbrook this summer.

Our students are heading to Chicago in July to serve missionally in our region, our missions’ team and elder board have approved the national church planter we will pick up in August, and we are meeting with our international church-planting team soon to celebrate the work God is doing around the world!

The Holy Spirit working through vision and mission fuels and mobilizes our church as we seek to Glorify God, build passionate disciples, reach others for Christ, and our mission begins right here – in your home and in our ministry at Springbrook. We are so grateful for the workers for the harvest God has raised up and for His financial provision that enables us to accomplish all He has for us together.

You do not need to serve on a mission trip to Chicago or somewhere in the US or Asia to serve missionally – you can serve right here at home! We have an immediate need for mentors and for a director for our Kid’s Hope ministry, we have an immediate need for Community Chaplains to serve families in our community, and we have MANY opportunities to serve on mid-week and Sunday morning ministries. Look through some of the opportunities below and let us know how we can help you be a part of the mission God has called us to at Springbrook!

Kid’s Hope Director

Penney Jurzak and been faithfully leading our Kids Hope ministry for the last several years, and with other responsibilities will be stepping back as director for the 2021/22 school year. We have an immediate need to fill our Kid’s Hope Director role and have an immediate need for child sponsors!  For more information click this link >>>

Community Chaplaincy

Springbrook community chaplains have an unprecedented opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they come alongside families in need at some of the most difficult times in their life.  For more information click this link >>>

Serving Sunday

This August we are planning to open our 9am Kid City Children’s ministry, and we have a long list of open serving opportunities!  In fact, as we continue connecting with so many new families and as others slowly begin returning to in-person, all our ministries have serving opportunities on Sunday morning where you can have an immediate vision and mission impact in building up and strengthening our local Body of Christ!  For more information click this link >>>
