Our Judea
Evangelism is the first step in the discipleship journey. We are asking God to ignite a passion in our church family about seeing lost people come to Jesus. We need additional resources to host fun community events, to attract people with creative media, and equip people to share the Gospel.
Our Samaria
We also want to help disciple people in a different cultural setting. God has led us to form a partnership with Lawndale Community Church in the inner city of Chicago. “Coach” Wayne Gordon started the church with a group of teenagers back in the 1970s. Through the church’s ministry, God has blessed this inner city community with a medical clinic, a fitness center and a Lou Malnati’s!
We will learn so much about holistic disciple-making by coming alongside this ministry and assisting them as the Lord leads. We will start by getting involved in their discipleship house that helps restore men who are struggling in life. We will also be funding a special project in their ministry.
