We are looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day this Sunday at 9am & 11am here at Springbrook, and would like to invite you and your family to join us! We realize there is a wide range of emotions on Mother’s Day, and we are sensitive to this, but we believe it is important to take time to celebrate Mothers and the wonderful gift they are to families.
There are so many wonderful stories in the Bible about how God uses mothers to impact the life of a child, and how it can carry them through times of great challenge to their life and faith. Mothers have a significant impact on children, especially as they are growing and then leave home to make their way in the world.
The Biblical principles we are going to look at this Sunday will come from Timothy’s mother, Eunice, but they are principles that will apply to all of us. I can’t wait to share them with you! We have a small token of appreciation for moms, and all of our ladies after each service this Sunday, and are looking forward to seeing you on this special day!
On the journey together,
PS – Come join us next week as Pastor Dan continues our series on Daniel!
We have an exciting morning planned to celebrate moms for Mother’s Day! Come join us for our 9am or 11am service as we celebrate this special day together.
We are also having child dedications as a part of our special Mother’s Day service. If you are interested in participating in the child dedication portion of the service on Mother’s Day, or if you have questions about child dedication, please sign-up for one of our upcoming classes below. The classes are held at 10:30am in between the services, so stay after the first service or come early for the second service.
We look forward to seeing you!
Men from Springbrook are heading out on a Lake Michigan salmon fishing expedition! We will be leaving Saturday morning, May 27th (potentially memorial day) for a great day of fishing! We are going to have a fantastic time together catching salmon, and will grab a meal together before or after the trip. Be sure to eat breakfast first, and pack snacks and beverage for the trip.
The cost per man is $120 for the boat, and due upon registration. Prior to the trip, you must have a valid Fishing Licence and a Lake Michigan Salmon Stamp. If you need to purchase one or both of these, you can do this on-line at www.dnr.illinois.gov.
Blue Horizon Charter will be our host for the trip. Be sure to check out there website for more detail information. Space is limited, so don’t delay. This trip is almost fully booked, so register today!
