Virtual Awana @ Springbrook Community Church
Mar 24 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

REGISTRATION IS FULL.  PLEASE CHECK BACK IN FALL.

Welcome to Virtual Awana!

Virtual Awana starts November 11th and runs through March 24th. The cost is only $40.00, which includes a new handbook and all awards (uniform costs are not included).  If you wish to purchase uniforms, Sparks vests are $11.25 and T&T Jerseys are $16.50. Scholarships are available to those in need.

Our Virtual Awana program is designed to provide families with the opportunity to continue the ministry of Awana from their own homes. Clubbers will work through their handbooks in a parent-led program while being provided with weekly support and resources from Springbrook’s Awana Directors.

Schedule

Sparks’ (K-2nd grade) large group time teaching will be supported through our Kid City @ Home program, which is seen on Wednesdays at 6:30 to 7:00pm on Springbrook.Live.
T&T clubbers (3rd-6th grade) will have a large group Zoom meeting on Wednesdays from 7:00-7:30pm.

Parents will be working with their children to listen and approve section memorizations. We will ask for biweekly email updates from parents so we can hand out section awards as they’re earned.

This year’s handbook and last year’s handbook awards will be ready for pick-up at Springbrook on Sunday, November 8th from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at the east entrance door under the portico. Please have your clubber wear their uniform. New uniforms will also be available for purchase at this time.

After registration you will be provided with more detailed information.  if you have any questions, please feel free to email awana@springbrook.org

Awana is an international, nonprofit Bible-based ministry for boys and girls.  Founded in 1950, Awana has grown to reach 4.5 million children annually. The name Awana is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 and is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. The club’s goal is succinctly declared in the Awana flag pledge: “… reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”

Awana is designed so children have fun while they learn about God and understand and memorize the Bible.

Celebrations That Point to Jesus: Festivals and Sabbath may not be ideas that we think about much today, but Leviticus 23 shows us that they are an amazing gift from God to keep Him at the center of our lives.  In the Old Testament these were part of God’s law for His people, but what should they look like today, and how do they point us to Christ?

You are welcome to come in person to our 9:00am or 11:00am services. CDC guidelines are in place and masks are required. You can also watch the live services on springbrook.live at 9am and 11am each Sunday.

Kid City, ages Toddler through 6th grade, is available at the 11:00 service with pre-registration.  For more information and to register your child, visit www.springbrook.org/kidcity.
