Moms with infants through elementary age children are invited to join our Mom’s Group meeting at Springbrook every other Wednesday 9:30-11:15am starting September 8th! Childcare will be provided.

Awana @ Springbrook Community Church

Awana is a weekly Bible-based children’s club program. Children play games, memorize Bible verses, and are taught Biblical truths through the Awana curriculum. Awana is a nonprofit ministry that started in Chicago in 1950. It is now a world-wide ministry providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship in over 123 different countries, reaching 4.5 million children annually!

Our Springbrook Awana Ministry is kicking off on Wednesday September 15th and will be meeting from 6:30 to 8:00pm through the school year. The cost per child is $60. To register you kids for Awana, click on this link or the Register Now button.

Our last board game night of the year will be on December 4th from 4-8pm. Whether you enjoy complicated games that span hours or quick card games, there is something for all ages.

Snacks and some of Pastor Matt’s pulled pork will be available for dinner (donations welcome :-).

Be our guest for our in-person to our 9:00am or 11:00am service! CDC guidelines are in place and we ask people to wear their mask when they are not seated. You can also watch the live services on Springbrook.Live at 9am and 11am each Sunday.  We hope you will take advantage of all the opportunities to connect, grow and go on our website!

Kid City, ages Toddler through 6th grade, is available at the 11:00 service with pre-registration.  For more information and to register your child, visit Springbrook.org/kidcity.

The 1st Sunday of every month, we will be celebrating communion together with you in your home until we are back together. Be sure to pick up your supplies, and use this Communion at Home Guide to help guide your time together with us online.

Angel Tree, a program started by Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ.  Springbrook will be partnering again this year with the McHenry County Angel Tree Ministry. Pick out an “angel” to bless this Christmas by visiting the tree in the Atrium before or after Sunday Services. If you are unable to pick up an “angel” in person and wish to participate, please contact Penney Jurzak or call the church office at 224-569-3300.

The suggested gift amount is $25 and wrapped gifts should be brought back to the church by Sunday, December 12th.  The gifts will be delivered before Christmas.

INFORMED CHOICES is a ministry dedicated to providing compassion and hope to women and men facing pregnancy decisions. They are here to connect their clients to the information and support that will encourage them to choose life for their babies through the grace and love of Jesus Christ.

Springbrook is supporting the work of Informed Choices by participating inan “Adopt a Child” program this Christmas!

Come visit the tree in the atrium before or after Sunday services. Pick a “star” off the tree that has information about a child to bless this Christmas. If you are unable to pick up a star in person and wish to participate, please contact Penney Jurzak or call the church office at 224-569-3300.  The suggested gift amount is $25 and wrapped gifts should be brought back to the church by Sunday, December 12th.  The gift wil be delivered by Informed Choices before Christmas.
