Reaching and building passionate followers of Jesus Christ

Awana

Parents: Thank you for your patience as we continue to sort out the logistics of Awana this year! We’ve made the decision that Awana at Springbrook will be remote, and will be starting on November 11. We’re praying that this will be a unique opportunity for you to disciple your child; learning and memorizing God’s word with them!
Registration will open early October, and will be linked here.
New handbooks and book finisher awards from last year will be picked up at the church. Date/event to be determined.
If you have any questions, please email: awana@springbrook.org
Awana is an international, nonprofit Bible-based ministry for boys and girls.
Founded in 1950, Awana has grown to reach 4.5 million children annually. The name Awana is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 and is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. The club’s goal is succinctly declared in the Awana flag pledge: “… reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”
Awana is designed so children have fun while they learn about God and understand and memorize the Bible. Trained leaders come alongside children as mentors, encouragers, teachers and friends.
