Springbrook’s Student Ministry is focused on students in 7th-12th grade. Our desire for students and families is to help teenagers learn to see the church as a place where they belong and can grow with other believers. We do this through our Thrive gatherings, serving on Sundays, and various trips and events throughout the year. We also seek to partner with parents to help families navigate the challenges that teenagers face.
Thrive is our weekly gathering for students in 7th-12th grade. We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm at the church. Thrive exists to help students engage in loving God and loving others. Thrive is a safe place for students to learn about God, themselves, and engage with other students and adults who love Jesus. We do this through the study of God’s Word, small groups, games, worship, and serving in our community. We begin most weeks with some games, followed by large group worship and teaching, before wrapping up in small groups led by our adult leaders. This winter Thrive will be focused on the practice of reading the Bible as we study the four gospels of Jesus. Each week we will teach students some helpful tips and tools for opening up their Bible and for doing daily devotionals.
