Eric, his wife Joni, and daughter Kate (Turney) moved to the Huntley area in 2002 and began attending Springbrook Community Church shortly after. After visiting several area churches, they chose Springbrook as their church family because Springbrook had a welcoming environment, great small groups, and Pastors that relate the Gospel message to everyday life.
Eric is retired from education after 35-years, serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator for 22 of those years. Joni is a Career Technical Educator at Huntley High School. During their time at Springbrook, Eric and Joni have served in various ministries.
Outside of work and church, they like to spend time boating, motorcycle riding, camping, hiking, and vacationing.
