Joseph received Christ as a teenager through the testimony of some students when he was attending high school. By age twenty, he had begun teaching and preaching, and was ordained at 24. He studied at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College and Cornerstone University, and received a Bachelor’s in Theology, a Master’s in Theology, and a Master’s in Christian Counseling.
Joseph has pastored churches in both California and Arizona, served as the director of a Christian School, and taught at Gateway Seminary. In his secular roles, he has experience as a construction foreman and retail manager. He also plays the guitar and is semi-fluent in Spanish.
Much of his motivation to return to the Midwest came from his four adorable grandchildren. On his days off he can often be found stirring them up into bouts of rolling laughter or cheering them on at their soccer games.
