Reaching and building passionate followers of Jesus Christ

Richard Wollard

After working for 15 years nationally as a manufacturing/operations executive in the healthcare industry, Richard committed his life to Christ at Faith Church in Grayslake and followed God’s calling into ministry.

After receiving his Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, and completing a church planting internship at Northbridge Church in Antioch, Richard and Carolyn, and their 4 daughters, stepped out in faith and moved to Spring Grove in 2002 to plant Meadowland Community Church, a missional Christian community with a vision for “Establishing and Growing Lasting Relationship in Christ Jesus.”

Richard served as the founding and Sr Pastor of Meadowland until September 2008, when he accepted a call to Springbrook Community Church in Huntley Illinois, where he currently serves as Interim Senior Pastor. He oversees various areas of ministry including small groups, adult ministries, the discipleship pathway, staff, and has a heart for missions.  Richard also serves on the board of directors and is a chaplain for Nationwide Chaplain Services, and is a chaplain for first responders in the community.
