Alaska Missions Trip: July 1st – 7th

// Local Partners //

Our Springbrook Team will be working with Next Steps Ministries and other churches during the week on projects with the following local ministries:

The Vine Ministries, which exists to reach the indigenous people of Alaska for Christ. The main hub of the Vine Ministries is located on Will and Yvonne’s property in Fairbanks.

The Door, a 24-7 shelter for homeless youth aged 12-18, located in downtown Fairbanks. The shelter provides a safe place to sleep, home cooked meals, clothing, supplies, and connections to community resources to help youth find stability.

Camp Li-Wa, which stands for Living Water, runs eight weeks of summer camp as well as a fall, winter, and spring retreat and conference center for churches and organizations in the area to minister to the needs of the Fairbanks community.

// Location //

Our Springbrook Team will be flying into Fairbanks, Alaska. From the airport, they will be renting vans to drive to the main hub of the Vine Ministries located on Will and Yvonne’s property in Fairbanks. Projects with local ministries will be in and around the Fairbanks area.

// Cost //

The estimated cost for the trip is $1,500. Costs are broken down by food, logging and project costs, airline tickets, and local travel.  The team must stay together for each and all aspects of the trip.  All team members will have a discipleship and prayer partner, and must have an application submitted and approved along with a $250 non-refundable deposit by April 30th.
