Are you a believer who desires to go deeper in your study of the Word? Whether you are brand new to the faith or a seasoned highlighter of Scripture, the How to Study the Bible workshop is for you. In this eight-week workshop, we will cover skills and tips to help enrich small group discussions and personal devotional times.
This course will equip you to study the Bible more deeply and richly as you learn to interpret and apply the biblical text in a responsible and informed manner.
As a result of this course, you will:
- Gain a greater vision of the glory of God
- Be able to communicate a proper understanding of the clarity, authority and inspiration of Scripture
- Learn key interpretive principles you to effectively and faithfully study, understand and teach the biblical text
- Develop and sharpen your skills through the study of assigned biblical books
- Understand the distinctive features of various genres in Scripture (e.g. narrative, poetry and epistle)
This course will be conducted in a manner that is both deep and accessible. It will be of great value to those who are just starting, as well as to those who have had previous training in biblical studies.
Join us for a monthly women’s book club at Springbrook on the first Tuesday of each month from 1-2:30 pm by the lobby fireplace. Engage in thoughtful discussions about a Christian-based novel, biography, or memoir.

Ladies of Springbrook, get ready for a weekend of fun and faith — we are so excited to invite you to our Fall Retreat. This is a unique opportunity to hit “pause” from our busy schedules and connect with God and with each other. We invite you to join us for a weekend of spiritual refreshment and fellowship with each other and our guest speaker Pam Gillaspie. The theme of the conference is “Walking by Faith” out of Galatians.
We will be staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Deerfield on Friday September 26th, and departing Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. The cost of the conference will include our guest speaker, luncheon, and your suite. There is a complimentary made-to-order breakfast with a variety of options provided by the Embassy Suites on Saturday morning.
The cost of the event varies depending on your preference of number of people in a room. We hope that you will join us, and that through this experience you will come away refreshed and renewed in your walk with Christ.
