Residents of Marshall, North Carolina
experiencING the love of Christ through medical, dental, and vision services

The already medically underserved town of Marshall, North Carolina, was devastated during Helene when the French Broad River overflowed its banks. To help those struggling, Samaritan’s Purse hosted a community medical outreach at Madison Early College High School on March 15, providing medical, dental, and vision care, free of charge while also sharing the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Springbrook member Becky Mihevc was part of a very special team that had the opportunity to serve the residents of Marshall. Through her dedication and heart for ministry, Becky joined others in bringing hope and support to the community, demonstrating God’s love through acts of service. Her commitment to making a difference reflects the mission of Springbrook, as we continue to reach beyond our walls to serve those in need!

Samaritan’s Purse physician Elliott Tenpenny explained the dilemma that many underinsured people face across the country. When natural disasters strike, the situation can become even more precarious. Click the video link below to hear from Elliott or visit this Samaritan’s Purse Western North Carolina webpage for more information.

June 20- 23 Missions Trip

Each year, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, and floods impact communities across the U.S.—and Samaritan’s Purse U.S. Disaster Relief teams are ready to respond at a moment’s notice in Jesus’ Name.

This summer, we have the opportunity to be part of that response team by serving families in Marshall, North Carolina through Community Medical Outreach. We’ll be holding an information meeting on Sunday, May 4 at 12:30 PM to share more details. But if you already know you’re interested, don’t wait—spots are limited and filling fast! Just email Pastor Rich to let him know you’ve signed up.

We’re especially in need of dentists, dental assistants, and dental supply and support volunteers, but there is also a great need for non-medical general on-site and patient support volunteers.

You can view all the available spots or sign up now here, join us May 4th for our information meeting, and reach out to Pastor Rich with any questions. Let’s go reach others with the love of Christ and be praying with us for what God will do through this opportunity!
