It is not big news that Jesus died; everybody dies. The big news is that Jesus: 1) came back to life 3 days later just has He said He would, and 2) that He ascended into heaven and is currently seated at the right hand of His Father in heaven!
Do you find it interesting to think about the fact that there would be no Easter if Jesus had not come back to life and risen from the grave?
