Welcome to Awana!

Club will run from 6:30 to 8:00 (shortened) and will consist of Large Group Time, Handbook Time and a short, contactless game time.

We’ve been approved to do this given the small size of our group (17 T&T, 8 Sparkies). Registration is closed. We will not be able to add children or bring friends– thank you in advance for understanding.

We will be following Kid City’s Covid protocols which includes signing a waiver, having temperatures taken, and wearing a mask .

Awana is an international, nonprofit Bible-based ministry for boys and girls.  Founded in 1950, Awana has grown to reach 4.5 million children annually. The name Awana is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 and is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. The club’s goal is succinctly declared in the Awana flag pledge: “… reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”

Awana is designed so children have fun while they learn about God and understand and memorize the Bible.

If you or someone you know has lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, it may be very hard to feel optimistic about the future right now.  It’s not uncommon to find that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt that is felt with loss.  It can be a confusing time, with feelings of isolation, and there might be many questions about things that have never been faced before.

In our GriefShare support groups you will find others that do understand the hurt and pain of loss, and through this are able to provide hope!  Our groups meet weekly to encourage one another and provide help in facing these challenges, with a movement toward hope and rebuilding life.

Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements:
1. Video Segment With Experts
2. Support Group Discussion With Focus
3.Workbook-Based Personal Study And Reflection

Registration is now open for our upcoming session. Click the Register Now button to register, or the online form below for more information.
