Informed Choices is a ministry dedicated to providing compassion and hope to women and men facing pregnancy decisions. They connect their clients to the information and support that will encourage them to choose life for their babies through the grace and love of Jesus Christ.
Springbrook is supporting the work of Informed Choices by participating in an “Adopt a Child” program this Christmas. If you are unable to pick up a star in person and wish to participate, please contact Penney Jurzak or call the church office at 224-569-3300. The suggested gift amount is $25. Wrapped gifts should be brought back to the church by Sunday, December 10th. The gifts will be delivered by Informed Choices before Christmas.
Angel Tree, a program started by Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. Springbrook will be partnering again this year with the McHenry County Angel Tree Ministry. Pick out an “angel” to bless this Christmas by visiting the tree in the Atrium before or after Sunday Services. “Sanctity of life” reflects the belief that because people are made in God’s image, human life has an inherently sacred attribute that should be protected and always respected. God gave humanity the authority to kill and eat other forms of life, but the taking of human life is expressly forbidden.
When someone is faced with making decisions about an unplanned pregnancy or has already made a decision about a pregnancy, they may wonder about what types of information and resources are available or they may need someone to talk with.
Springbrook partners with Informed Choices Pregnancy and Parenting to help those with questions about pregnancy, pregnancy choices, what to expect, and how to find answers. Informed Choices is a strategic ministry partner for Springbrook, and if you are interested in helping us support them, pick up a baby bottle in the lobby this Sunday.
If you would like more information about Informed Choices or would like to support them directly, visit Informedchoices.org
Baby Bottle Campaign:
1. Pick up a baby bottle after the service on Sunday, January 21 – Sunday, February 11
2. Take the bottle home and fill it with loose change, dollar bills or checks.
3. Return the bottle to Springbrook by Sunday, February 11.

Naomi Rogers with His Story Production Company will present “Because of My Son” on Saturday, May 4th from 1:00pm to 3:30 pm. In this one-woman performance, Naomi portrays Mary the mother of Jesus and presents His story (God’s Story) uniquely and powerfully!
Come and experience seeing the Gospel of Christ through the eyes of Mary, His mother. After the production, we will have a break-out session to share our thoughts on what it might have been like to be in Mary’s place. Would we have responded in the same way she did? There will also be a Q&A with Naomi.
